Left Turn tells the story of the lesson one man learns when he decides to leave his prejudices behind. After running through a neighborhood he typically avoids, the man is left with more questions than answers.

Why are there kids running through the streets when they should be getting ready for school? Why do some men sit on their porch and drink beer at 7:30 in the morning? When he takes time to simply talk to these people, he realizes there is more than meets the eye.

The running man realizes that isolation and outsider misconceptions enable poverty, and then realizes there are nonprofits and neighbors who are working hard to change this.
